Books and Me

Salam Jumaat :)

Nikmatnya pagi hari minggu ni bila dapat bermalas-malas di atas sofa sambil sesekali tangan membelek-belek helaian demi helaian ditemani segelas susu coklat panas yang masih beruap-ruap hawanya. Sesekali terdengar kicauan-kicauan burung yang mendamaikan. Having this quick update just as sharing :)

Sinopsis

‘Dia kosong, aku pun kosong.’

Pertama kali bersua muka, si dara terasa jengkel, sedangkan si bujang hanya bersikap ala-ala lelaki tak berperasaan.

Orang tua hanya talian hayat semata-mata.

Ketika sedar ada sesuatu berdetak tiap kali mata bertentang mata, muncul Syirin menagih janji lama. Sudahnya, janji baru terpaksa Dinzley mungkir walaupun Annura sudah ternampak bayang-bayang pelamin nan indah.

Murabbi Cinta
Hasrizal Abdul Jamil

Cinta menjadikan manusia suka disuruh.

Cinta menjadi penunduk kehambaan.

Meeting with Aisha Hani

Deary heartist,
Assalamualaikum :)

Last Saturday we had a family gathering for majlis cukur jambul of the little girl, Aisha Hani Marrissa on her 8th days. Alhamdulillah, syukur sangat bila masing-masing dapat berkumpul sama menyambut kehadiran orang baru dalam keluarga kami. Even though we always hangout together but for this time it's quite different as the excitement is more more blooming. Every faces seem to reflect happiness through their sweet big grin. ^__^

A little bit about Aisha Hani,
>> first granddaughter in the family :)
>> having long and pointed fingers and toes, just like her auntie. hehe !!
>> prefer screaming than whining to start her crying, enough to grab all the attention
>> love to sleep all day long and stay fresh when it comes midnight
>> having a pair of beautiful eyes especially when she sharpen her views to see something

Bila bercakap pasal si comel Aisha, teringat pulak cerita mama pasal kenangan kami adik-beradik waktu kecik-kecik dulu. Macam-macam ragam katanya. Cerita yang paling diingati ialah masa mama kena berjaga malam for the whole time waktu dalam pantang lepas lahirkan kita sebab kita jenis suka tidur siang so as a result malam kita jadi burung hantu, ganggu orang nak tidur. Haha. Sampaikan lepas pantang, masa mama nak pergi mengajar balik, habis semua kain baju kurung mama longgar kat pinggang, sebab apa? Sebab berjaga malam then tak cukup tidur then having extreme weight loss. haha. That time je la kita nakal sikit, lepas-lepas tu kita jadi budak baik dah. Hehe. Later I become daddy's little girl for 4 years, then baru dapat adik, baru la ada kawan nak main pondok2, nak main masak2 :) Sweet memory to remember back <3

Lets meet the lil girl,

Hello Tiramisu

Deary heartist,
Assalamualaikum !!

tarra !! my tiramisu cheese cake !! :)

Got to go this as fast as possible before it's getting lost in my short-term memory. Fuhh !! I had just finished making a tiramisu cheese cake. Hehe. It's quite simple actually to make this cake. I got the recipe from kak Rozie, my sista-in-law and alhamdulillah manage to do it with the help of Baby, her lil sista. :)) Here we go:

What we need?
   1 tube of Tatura cheese
1/2 cup of castor sugar (adjustable)
1@2 pack of Ladyfinger biscuits (for this I use Savoiardi)
5 tablespoons of Van Houten cocoa powder
   2 eggs
   plain water

How to do it?
1. Separate the egg yolk and the white one.
2. Beat the yolk with sugar until  its become light and fluffy yellow. Then add up the Tatura cheese. Beat it again. (for this I do it by hand or otherwise we can use mixing machine)
3. At the same time, beat the egg white with mixing machine until its become fluffy (gebu) but make sure that it is not mixed with water and used the high speed from starting to the end.
4. In another bowl, stir the cocoa powder with water to avoid it from being lumpy (berketul2).
5. Then mix the yolk batter with the white batter and stir a little bit.
6. Next is soak a little bit of the biscuit one by one in sommersaults style (balik kuang) in the cocoa mixture before arrange it in the container mold.
7. After that, pour the egg mixture into the container mold until it is enough covered the biscuit, not too much.
8. Then repeat  step6 and step7 to fill up the container mold.
9. Last but not least, sprinkle a little beat of cocoa powder on top of it or adding some walnut may be or anything that we like and then cool it in the fridge after covering it first with wrapping foil. Fin !!

Oh it getting late. Need to prepare my bed now. Tomorrow will be majlisCukur for the lil Aisha. Till then, and lets give it a try ya !!

Good night !! ^____*

Lets Be Creative !!

Deary heartist,

As lately I am so in love with cotton therefore I decided to search for the cotton cloth to make my own long cotton cloth pashmina instead of just buying it online or anywhere else. So I come out with an idea that why not I just do it on my own. I found that it's quiet difficult for me to search for the headscarf which is wide enough to covered the chest area especially the cotton ones. The one that will make me feel comfort and satisfied. Sounds like I'm a bit fussy, aite? But yeah, it's me, in some sort of thing, I will be a little bit fussy :) However there are some (cotton one) that suit my taste and normally it will cost a little bit as most of it is handmade + tailored made but for the time being, lets just be so-so, its not around my budget yet. Ya of course lahh I have to as I'm the one who is still craving for my parents' allowance !! Hehe. Alhamdullillah so bless to have my lovely mama who is very understanding towards her girl's whatsoever passion ^________^

For the first trial, I choose these three colour block which cost RM22 for one meter for each. From each pieces, I'll get one long cloth pashmina, one inner and outer or a turtle neck scaft cover all in one with a little touch of tailoring and handicrafts :))

And the result...

Photos are a little bit blurry as they were taken using lappy's webcam. Tailoring and doing some handicrafts is something that i love to play with during my free times in between. As currently, weekdays is intern'days which means if possible anything related to it I'll try my best to finish it upon the time and looking forward to relaxing+chilling+doing awesome activities and preparing for the days (umrah) during weekend.

Time flies, a month has passing, there's about 9 weeks to go. Alot more books need to be covered. Insya allah, put everything on Allah's hand :).
